The following list is in alphabetical order, and includes information on each breed‘s size, weight and life expectancy so you can make an informed decision before adopting one.
1) American Eskimo Dog: This small dog weighs between 10 and 25 pounds and has a lifespan of 12 to 15 years. The coat is typically white with black markings around eyes or on the ears.
2) Bichon Frise: This small dog weighs between 10 and 20 pounds and has a lifespan of 12 to 15 years. The coat is typically white with black, gray or apricot markings around eyes or on ears.
3) Cavalier King Charles Spaniel: This small dog weighs between 9 and 18 pounds and has a lifespan of 11 to 14 years. The coat is typically silky, straight and flat with colors such as ruby, black and tan.
4) Coton De Tulear: This small dog weighs between 8 and 16 pounds and has a lifespan of 13 to 16 years. The coat is cottony soft, but must be brushed every day to prevent matting. Colors include white, gray and cream.
